help end the travel ban to Cuba
In 2011, President Obama liberalized travel to Cuba for Cuban-Americans, students and religious travel, and created a new category–People-to-People–that permits ALL U.S. citizens to participate in “educational exchange” programs. But all other travel to Cuba remains illegal.
Congressional delegates opposed to normalization of travel to Cuba continue to work hard to eliminate these small openings.
The Supreme Court determined in the 1950s that, under the Fifth Amendment, U.S. citizens have a right to unrestricted travel. Help us secure YOUR constitutional right for unrestricted travel to Cuba.
What you can do…
- Join the Latin America Working Group (LAWG), which works closely with Congress to end travel restrictions
- Let your Congressional Reps know your expectations of them: To lift all travel restrictions and end the embargo on Cuba
