I just received a copy of the National Geographic (Hungary) special edition dedicated entirely to ‪‎horses‬, with my image of my pal Julio Muñoz and his horse Diana in the colonial city of Trinidad, Cuba‬, as a double-page spread.

It’s one of my favorite images… not simply because I think it illustrates the gentility of the Cuban people, which I so admire, but also because Diana died unexpectedly two days later.
