I just received a copy of the National Geographic (Hungary) special edition dedicated entirely to horses, with my image of my pal Julio Muñoz and his horse Diana in the colonial city of Trinidad, Cuba, as a double-page spread.
It’s one of my favorite images… not simply because I think it illustrates the gentility of the Cuban people, which I so admire, but also because Diana died unexpectedly two days later.
