CCTV CubaSince President Obama’s announcement this Wednesday of renewed diplomatic relations and new possibilities for travel to Cuba, the following 48 hours were a whirligig of media interviews for me. Entities from the Miami Herald to NBC, CCTV, CNN, and San Francisco’s CBS affiliate KPIX, wanted interviews.

I’m particularly thrilled by the five-minute segment with CCTV’s “Biz Asia America,” viewed by more than 85 million people worldwide. (What a pity, however, that the producers tagged the wrong website on the slat line–it’s that of another photographer named Christopher Baker, not mine.)

Click the image to watch the CCTV interview … then click to watch my interview on CNN’s ‘The Situation Room’ with Wolf Blitzer.

I was delighted that CNN’s slat identified me as the author of Moon Cuba guidebook, due to be published in February 2015 with details of President Obama’s ground-breaking changes and their implications for U.S. citizens wishing to travel to Cuba. BUY IT TODAY!
